The Town of Homer, Georgia will conduct the General Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 7:00a.m. to 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of electing the Mayor, and Council members for District 1 Post 2 and District 2 Post 2.
The qualifying fee for the position of Mayor shall be $108.00 and for each Council member shall be $72.00. All qualified candidates are encouraged to run.
The qualifying for offices will be held at Town Hall 943 Historic Homer Highway, Monday August 18, 2025, 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and Tuesday, August 19, 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday August 20, 2025 8:30a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Early voting will begin on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 and will end on Friday, October 31, 2025. Office hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m and early voting will be on Saturday, October 18, 2025 and Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 9 a. m. until 5 p.m. at the Banks County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office, located 226 Candler St., Homer, Ga. 30547
Last day to register to vote in the municipal election is October 6, 2025.
